A Few Things to Know About McDonald’s Franchise Application
- McDonald’s grant franchises to sole proprietors only. Historically, corporations and partnerships are not given franchises and individuals cannot own exclusive franchises to geographical locations. Franchises are per-store basis only.
- McDonald’s chooses the potential site and takes feasibility studies seriously.
- Franchise term is only for 10 years.
McDonald’s Franchise Fees, Investments and Costs
Typically a store costs 30 to 50 million pesos to fund. This cost covers the following:
- Architectural planning
- building costs
- kitchen equipment, facilities, furnitures and fixtures
- generators
- signages
How to Franchise a McDonald’s Store
- Send an email to franchising.admin@ph.mcd.com and ask for an application form.
- Fill up the form and submit it back together with a letter of intent to franchise a store.
- Review of your application.
- If you pass the review, you are going to be arranged with an on-the-job-experience or OJE at a MCdonald’s branch near you.
- If you performed well, formal training will commence.
